Bhubaneswar,31/07/22 ( Pratyusha Bureau):Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra inaugurated 8th League Match between Nepal and India today in the series of SAFF U-20 Championship being held in Kalinga Stadium of Odisha.
Sri Mahapatra along with Secretary Sports and Youth Services Sri R Vineel Krishna met the players and officials on the ground before start of the match. The National Anthems of Nepal and India were played one after another with high dignity and pride in the presence of Chief Guest Sri Mahapatra.
The match is now going on. Both the teams are in their best form and displaying their talents in team spirit. The sources say, in total 5 countries are participating in this prestigious Championship match. In total 10 matches are being played among India, Srilanka, Bangaladesh, Maldives and Nepal.
The teams for the final match would be selected on the basis of scored points in the league matches. The final match is scheduled on 5 August, 2022.India leading by one goal by the half time of the match.After the half time both the teams have changed their sides in the play ground.
The second half of the match started with great enthusiasm and encouraging upplauds from the gallery.India has kicked another goal in second half. Now India leads by 2-0.India own the match by 7-0 lead.
