Ltd. – Gyproc business, aleader in light and sustainable construction solutions, commissioned India’s first Near-Net Zero Gypsum Ceiling Tiles Plant in Visakhapatnam. Its strategic location enables faster market access, consistentquality, and adherence to global manufacturing standards. The plant is equipped withadvanced systems, including a modern dust collection system, underscoring thecompany’s strong focus on operational excellence, workplace safety, and environmentalstewardship. Products manufactured at the facility comply with BS EN 520 and BS EN14190 standards, ensuring superior durability and performance for commercial andinstitutional applications. This first Near- Net Zero Gypsum Ceiling Tiles plant is alignedwith Saint-Gobain’s global sustainability roadmap of achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2050.Through this investment, Saint-Gobain India continues to strengthen local manufacturingwhile delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for India’s evolving construction needs,while driving customer-centric and environmentally responsible growth.
