Bhubaneswar,5.06.26 ( Pratyusha Bureau ): Odisha private Engineering school Association AGM Grand Success.In this programme present the Annual Report of the Odisha PrivateEngineering Schools’ Association (OPESA) for the period from 1st April 2025 to 31st March2026.During the year, OPESA continued its efforts towards the growth, development andstrengthening of Diploma Engineering Education in Odisha. The Association actively engagedwith policy makers, academic leaders, industry representatives and member institutions toenhance the quality of technical education, skill development, employability, and industryreadiness of diploma engineering students across the State. The academic session witnessedcontinued participation and cooperation from member institutions in implementing variousacademic, skill development, and social initiatives undertaken by OPESA.During the year, the Association conducted 04 Executive Body Meetings and 02 General BodyMeetings. The meetings facilitated deliberations on issues relating to technical education,admissions, skill development, industry-academia collaboration, regulatory matters, institutionalgrowth and student employability.

Various resolutions were adopted for the collectiveadvancement of member institutions and Diploma Engineering education in Odisha.In its continuous endeavor to enhance the quality of technical education and facultydevelopment, OPESA facilitated the participation of faculty members from member institutionsin a Six-Day Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme conducted at the World Skill Center,Bhubaneswar. The programme provided exposure to contemporary teaching methodologies,skill-based learning approaches, industry-oriented training practices, emerging technologies, andcompetency-based education frameworks.OPESA also continued its commitment towards social and environmental responsibility throughvarious community engagement activities undertaken across member institutions. BloodDonation Camps were organized with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members,staff and management representatives, reflecting the collective commitment of the OPESAfraternity towards humanitarian service and social welfare. In addition, plantation programmesand road safety activities were conducted at various campuses to promote environmentalawareness, sustainable and safety practices among the academic community. A massiveplantation drive was also undertaken during the year, contributing towards environmental.
