Bhubaneswar: 16 jan 2026( Pratyusha bureau )The 20th All India Conference of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh will be at Puri from 6th to 8th February2026.Around 2500 selected delegates from all over India, representing 28 States, 4 Union Territories and42 Industrial Federations will participate in this conference. More than 400 Volunteers will work tomake this conference a grand success.The Conference will discuss the present Labour scenario, the impact of the four Labour codes ondifferent sectors, the changing world of Work and the role of Trade Unions.A “National Colloquium on- Increasing Women’s Participation in the Trade Union Movement:Challenges & Opportunities has been arranged.Fraternity delegates from 12 countries, particularly from BRICS countries, will participate in theconference. An “International Symposium on-Changing Technological, Economic, Ecological &Ethical Scenario: Impact on the World of Work and Role of the Trade Unions” has been arranged aspart of the conferenceSpecial lectures, Industry-wise discussions, resolutions, Cultural Programmes depicting Orissa’s richculture, delegate’s procession and public meeting are a few highlights of the Conference.The Conference will be formally inaugurated by the Hon. Union Labour & Employment Minister DrMansukh Bhai Mandaviya and the International Labour Organizations’ (ILO) South Asia Director, Ms.Michiko Miyamoto, as guests for this conference. Hon. Chief Minister of Odisha, Sri Mohan CharanMajhi, will be the Guest of Honour for the International Symposium. We have invited Smt. VijayaRahatkar, Chairperson, National Commission of Women, to be a Special Guest at the NationalColloquium on Women’s participation in the Trade Union movement.Arrangements for the Conference are going on briskly.On 7th February, there will be a huge procession and public meeting at which more than 5000 localactivists participate. Sri Ravindra Himte, All India General Secretary, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, willmeetingbe the main speaker. Besides him, leaders from different parts of the country will speak in the publicBefore this, Odisha State BMS had conducted the All-India Conference at Cuttack in 2008.
