The Kalinga Warriors, who were runners-up in the previous edition of the tournament, are eager to return to action and take a step further this year. The cup competition will take place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, for the second time, starting from April 20, 2025, at the Kalinga Stadium. Odisha FC will begin their journey in the competition with an exciting opening match against Punjab FC. The tournament will feature 16 premier clubs from across India, including 13 Indian Super League (ISL) clubs and 3 I-League clubs. The competition will be played in a knock-out format, ensuring thrilling encounters as the teams vie for supremacy. The champions of the Kalinga Super Cup 2025 will be rewarded with a coveted opportunity to compete in the AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) Playoffs, giving Indian clubs the chance to showcase their talent on the continental stage.
