Bhubaneswar,7/10/22 (PratyushaBureau):”Odisha Infrastructure Conclave” has organised by All Odisha Contractors Welfare Association was held today at Hotel Lemon Tree, Bhubaneswar. This conclave was inaugurated by His Excellency Professor Ganeshi Lal, Hon’ble Governor of Odisha in the presence of Shri Bijay Kumar Patnaik, Former Chief Secretary Govt of Odisha, Shri S C Sharma, CGM, SBI, Er.
Pradipta Kumar Swain, CEO, WATCO and guests & dignitaries. Speaking on this occasion Governer Shri Lal, Odisha is the land of Lord Jagannath the land of infrastructure. For making vibrant Odisha, magnificent Odisha, and incredible Odisha we all should concentrate on the infrastructural development of the state. This is the need of the hour, there should be sustainable development. Sabka Vikash as said by our honorable Prime Minister. Our PM has added another phrase to this Sabka Viswas.
There are three principles of the Vikash. 1st is Samanta, 2nd is Swatantrata and the 3rd one is Pramanik. When development is concerned, it’s only about collaborative and compassionate effort. Everything is meant for the people only. Speaking on this occasion Jagdish Patra, President, AOCWA said, Odisha Infrastructure Conclave (OIC) gave a platform to all the contractors members and other stakeholders to discuss the role of infrastructure in the growth of Odisha and the roles & responsibility of all the stake holders.
We celebrate all the stake holders’ hard work, strong determination and risk taking ability for nation building. The emphasis will be on creating an eco-system for all stake holders in terms of knowledge, skill, capacity building, technology and collaborative growth. There were various brainstorming sessions on topic like “Roles and responsibilities of the stake holders, Challenges of the stake holders, Success Story, Funding supports” held during the conclave where eminent speakers from the industry discussed on various issues related to the field.
Elaborating on the conclave Shri Chinmay Swain, Vice President, AOCWA said, as you are aware, the development of a country wholly depends on the availability of its infrastructural facilities. Infrastructure plays a vital role in the improvement of the country’s standard of living. It also plays an important role in contributing to a higher rate of economic growth. In addition, infrastructures like railways, roads, ships, airways, communication, etc. are basic to our living today. They also include energy, banking, science, technology, health, education and other public utility services. of Shri. Bibhuti Jena, General Secretary, AOCWA said, In a state like Odisha more than contractors are not connected nor given a platform, hence this conclave offered a platform to all of them and recognize their hard work Behind nation building. More than 200 contractors from all over Odisha participated in this conclave and shared their story. A drawing competition on the theme, “Save water -Save Life” was organized. Many students from all the schools of Bhubaneswar participated in it. Three winner of this competition received awards during the conclave. Best engineer and best contractor award also give to encourage the stake holders.
