Bhubaneswar, 26.12.22 (ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁଷା ବ୍ୟୁରୋ):The Ministry of Miere, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Government of India will be organizing a National SC ST Hub (NSSH) Conclave at Baripada, Mayurbhanj, Odisha on 27 December 2022 to promote entrepreneurship culture and spread awareness of the NSSH Scheme and other Schemes of the Ministry in the State.
The event will be graced by Sha Ginsh Chandra Murmu. Hon ble Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Hon ble Union Minister of State (MSME), Sho BB Swain, Hon’ble Secretary (MSME) and other dignitaries from Central and State Government MSME sector plays a significant role in terms of job creation and improving livelihood. The sector consists of more than 6 crore units employing over 11 crore people, contributingsignificantly to economic growth with nearly 30% of contribution to GDP and over 45% of overall exports from India. The Government is consistently working to empower MSMEs for sustainable growth and to become the global value chain For inclusive growth, the Ministry of MSME, Govt of India, implements the National SC-ST Hub Scheme with the objective to augment the capacity of SC-ST entrepreneurs and empower them to participate in public procurement process and fulfil the mandated target of 4% procurement from SC/ST enterprises under Public Procurement Policy of Gol.
The event will provide an interactive platform to aspiring/existing SC-ST entrepreneurs to interact with CPSES, Industry Associations, lending institutions and concerned central/State government departments. It will also help the SC-ST MSMEs to expand their horizons by incorporating new ideas as they become aware of the various interventions given by the Government Maximum number of existing/aspiring SC-ST entrepreneurs is expected to participate from Mayurbhanj and surrounding region in this event and leverage the benefits offered under the Hub and other schemes/programmes of Ministry of MSME.
