Odisha, 16/04 (Pratyusha News):Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra on visit to Koraput district. Chief Secretary on second day of his two days visit to Koraput district, went to various project places and looked into their ground level progress. He discussed with engineers and workers engaged in construction works. As of now, Chief Secretary has visited SLN Medical College and Hospital at Koraput. It is being developed as a 650 bed Hospital and Teaching Institution. Sri Mahapatra also looked into implementation of Bharatmal Project of NHAI.
The Raipur- Vishakapatnam Economic Corridor will pass through Odisha for 240 km
The project includes complete access control, and improve connectivity between several Economic Hubs. Chief Secretary directed to complete first phase of work before the monsoon. He also directed to disburse all compensation amount to the beneficiaries expeditiously, and handed over balance land to NHAI immediately.
He expressed his satisfaction on overall progress of the project.
Collector,Koraput along with PD, DRDA , senior officers of NHAI along with district level officers of concerned departments presented necessery data for the review.
