New Delhi, November 10, 2024 ( Pratyusha Bureau ): The Delhi Saraswat Ashram at A-7, Southern Green, Dera Bhatti Road, Chhatarpur, New Delhi, came alive with fervor and devotion as the International Centre for Nigam Consciousness (ICNC) celebrated the Ratnamuda Utsav, an event deeply rooted in temple tradition and spirituality. This two-day celebration coincided with the 44th Annual Day of the Delhi Saraswat Sangha and the 10th Annual Day of the Prabasi Anchalika Sangha, drawing a gathering of over 500 devotees from across the country. The Ratnamuda Utsav holds a significant place in the realm of temple architecture. During this sacred ceremony, the “Amalaka” – a disc-like structure upon which the Kalasa is placed – is filled with life-affirming elements like whole grains, precious metals such as gold and silver, and gemstones, believed to emanate positive energy.

ICNC’s temple, to be known as a prominent centre for Nigam philosophy and its spiritual ambiance, the devotees also offered “Nama Khata”, with “Jayaguru” mahamantra and consecrated Kalasas, symbolizing their dedication and reverence. Prominent figures from the Nilachala Saraswat Sangha (NSS), Puri, including Parichalaka Sarata Chandra Singhdeo, President Santosh Mohanty, and central committee member Kambhu Charan Dhar, addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the life and teachings of Sadguru Nigamananda, a revered 20th-century saint of Sanatana Dharma. The event was graced by key dignitaries, including the Member of Parliament for South Delhi constituency and MLA, as well as personalities from various fields, enhancing the grandeur of the occasion. A special highlight was a soulful bhajan performance by renowned music director Abhimanyu Acharya, specially composed and dedicated to Sadguru Nigamananda, resonating deeply with the devotees. In recognition of significant contributions to public service, awards and mementos were presented to leading institutions and individuals on this occasion. President of Delhi Saraswat Sangha, Sh. D Pradhan, and Secretary, Sri Sangram Dhar, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all devotees, acknowledging their dedication and participation that made the event a tremendous success. The Ratnamuda Utsav, alongside the annual celebrations of Delhi Saraswat Sangha and Prabasi Anchalika Sangha, showcased a remarkable blend of devotion, tradition, and community spirit, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on all those present.
