Bhubaneswar, 23/11/23 ( Pratyusha Bureau ): 23.11.23-Birla Global University is set to hold its sixth annual convocation on November 25, 2023, at the Gothapatana campus. The ceremony promises to be a momentous occasion as a total of 202 students, including 68 postgraduates and 134 undergraduate students will receive their degrees. The University takes immense pride in honoring outstanding students with gold medals, acknowledging their outstanding achievements in academics. Birla Global University will bestow the honorary degree of D.Lit. (Honoris Causa) upon two illustrious individuals – Shri Sripraksh Shukla, Member-Group Executive Board, President- Group Strategy & Chief Brand Officer, and President-Defence at Mahindra Group, and Sri Sudarsan Pattnaik, Padma Shree Awardee and international sand artist. The convocation address will be delivered by Chief Guest Shri S.P Shukla, adding a prestigious dimension to the ceremony. Smt. Jayashree Mohta, Chairperson, Birla Global University and Birla Academy of Art & Culture will preside over the convocation. The esteemed gathering will include other members of the Board of Governors & Management, alongside guests, faculties, students, and parents. In response to the growing demand and changing educational landscape, Birla Global University is set to launch several new courses in the academic session of 2024 and upgrade the existing courses. Among the exciting additions are the MBA in Strategic Communications & Media Management and MBA in Financial Analytics align with the UGC guidelines and National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
