Bhubaneswar: 19 sept 2026( Pratyusha Bureau )Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributes more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth in variousGovernment Organisations at the 20th Rozgar Mela on 19 September 2026 via video conferencing. He will also address thenewly selected candidates on the occasionThis Rozgar Mela will be held at 45 locations across the country. The newly recruited candidates will be joining variousMinistries and Departments off the Goverment of India including Department off Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry ofHome Affairs, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Defence among others.As part of the nationwide programme, two Rozgar Mela events will be organised in Odisha, one each in Cuttack andBhubaneswar Appointment letters will be formally handed over to newly recruited candidates at both venues, while some ofthe recruits will also share their experiences of joining govemment serviceIn Cuttack, the Rozgar Mela held at Ravenshaw Convention Centre, Ravenshaw University Campus. Union Minister forTribal Affairs, Shri Jual Oram attend the programme as the Chief GuestIn Bhubaneswar, the programme held at Rail Auditorium . center Minister of State, for RuralDevelopment, Shri Kamlesh Paswan Grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.A total of around 161 newly recruited candidates from various Central Government departments participate in theBhubaneswar programme. The participating departments include Railways (37) Ministry of Health\/AIIMS (41), Department ofPosts (30), Bhubaneswar CGST (22) Income Tax\/CSOT (1) ESIC Odisha (3) Ministry of Jal Shakti\/Central Ground Water(1), and Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (1)Board (4), Department of Financial Services\/SLBC (3) CISF (2) Ministry of Education (2) Defence Accounts Department\/OGDA.to the scheduled programme, the Bhubaneswar event will feature a short film on the objectives and key aspects ofMels followed by the Pane Minister’s adess The Chief Guest will then present appointment letters to the newlyrecited employees, after which some of the recruits will share their experiences and reflections on their new roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
