Bhubaneswar:15 July 2026(PNS ) Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC) signed a Memorandum ofUnderstanding (MoU) with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Hydro Power TrainingCentre, Nangal, on 13th July 2026, to collaborate on training, skill development, and capacitybuilding of OHPC employees.The MoU was signed by Shri Sandeep Patnaik, Director (HR), OHPC, and Shri ShekharIshwardas Mahanta, Director, NPTI, Hydro Power Training Centre, Nangal, in the presence ofsenior officials from both organisations.NPTI, Hydro Power Training Centre, Nangal, an apex training institution under theMinistry of Power, Government of India, has been at the forefront of developing skilled humanresources for the Indian power sector. Through this partnership, OHPC aims to further strengthenthe technical expertise, managerial capabilities, and professional competencies of its workforce inline with evolving industry requirements.The MoU aims to facilitate advanced technical training, simulator-based learning,leadership development, and continuous professional education, enabling employees to keep pacewith emerging technologies and best practices in the hydropower sector.
